A TEST FOR THE BEST! Featuring elite athletes from around the world, The California Gold course encompasses swimming, running, board paddling and surfski/outrigger paddling with all transitions at the Huntington Beach Pier.
LEG 1: SURFSKI or OUTRIGGER , 2 x 4 MILES
LEG 2: OCEAN SWIM, 2 x 0.65 MILES
LEG 3: BOARD PADDLE, 2 x 3 MILES
LEG. 4: SAND RUN, 1 x 5 MILES
TOTAL DISTANCE: 20.3 MILES
Individual Iron - 1 person completes the entire course
Relay Team Iron - 4 Team Members, 5 legs
Junior Gold - same course, No surfski leg
